OUR INSTALLATION, SERVICE, AND MAINTENANCE PROCESS:

Typically, the process starts with an enquiry from a potential customer. We can usually provide an initial price estimate over the phone based on some simple site information to give our customers a good idea of the costs involved. We then follow this with a site visit to provide an exact quotation for the works. Should our quote be acceptable, our office support staff will schedule a date for our team of qualified engineers to carry out the required works. 

Our service does not stop with the installation. We always recommend that gas and oil appliances are serviced following manufacturer recommendations. Generally, we service heaters in the summer and then return at no extra labour charge to fix any genuine problem experienced in the year following our service. We have experience servicing equipment provided by all major manufacturers, including Ambirad, Benson, Combat, Powrmatic, Reznor and Roberts Gordon. Our service contracts give peace of mind to our customers in the knowledge that equipment is performing as it should and that priority call back is available when necessary. OUR SERVICE AND SUPPORT STAFF:

At Harry Taylor, all service and installation staff have the relevant NAC qualifications required for the work we specify for our customers. These qualifications are renewed every five years, ensuring that our engineers are always up-to-date with the latest gas industry regulations and techniques. 

We also have a long-established scheme for training apprentices. It takes our apprentices between 4 and 5 years to train to NVQ level 3, at which point they are ready to sit the NAC qualifications and start their careers as senior engineers.

Our friendly and helpful office staff support our engineers and apprentices. We have a dedicated Customer Service Manager who supervises our response to both new heating installations and service breakdowns, ensuring that we meet our customers’ expectations. Customer satisfaction is essential to us as more than half of our business comes from repeat customers.
