The Government through the Carbon Trust has been encouraging British business to invest in energy efficient products.  Through the Energy Technology List the Carbon Trust in consultation with various industries have set efficiency benchmarks for various products.  Businesses purchasing products that match or better these efficiency standards qualify for Enhanced Capital Allowances (the ECA scheme) allowing the total cost of supply and installation of the product to be offset against their Corporation Tax in the year of purchase.  Harry Taylor, where possible, will always specify products qualifying for the ECA scheme – helping our customers to save money.
